Sandcastle Contest in Imperial Beach

This weekend the huge sandcastle contest in Imperial Beach will completely wipe out the modest inventory of hotel rooms in the city. Nearby places such as Coronado Island, Chula Vista and San Diego will be where you need to look and book for overnighters for this event. Expecting to draw over 100,000 people to the 2-day festival, the good times will climax with awards for best sand sculptures.
