Loews Coronado Bay Resorts isn't for cool cats, but tweety is quite welcome.
Check out Loews incredibly incredible rates, whatever that means!
What do a cage full of finches facing toward the ocean tell you about the hotel hallways of Loews Coronado Bay Resort? That people in San Diego are nutty perhaps? Well, yes, they are. When I stayed in Catamaran Resort, my next door neighbors was a suite where all the exotic birds sleep each night. A ground floor suite with patio deck and bay views is occupied by a bunch of cuckoos.
So I head for another hotel known for its hospitality, its tennis courts and it feng shui. And what I discover are more birds. I think San Diego hoteliers are tweeting too much these days.
Loews Coronado Bay Resort is absolutely a breath of fresh air, no matter how you slice it and serve it. For those who only know about Hotel del, then keep driving south along the island till you get to Loews at a gated entrance near some luxury bay homes. What's so special about Loews? It's isolation for San Diego, its restaurants and food, its tennis courts, its pools, its special events, its beaches, and yes, its birds. These are a few items that you may find interesting and worth a visit on your next San Diego vacation.
The one thing you may not see specifically, but must be working because it sure captivates me--it's that feng shui!
Those who liked the Loews in San Diego's Coronado might like Loews in Santa Monica.
